D-Fixings are fire-rated pan head screws, with a 1.38” x 0.22” length x width shaft of close threads which combine to provide exceptional performance when securing
D-Line fire-rated Safe-D cable fasteners (& other electrical installation equipment) in popular substrates - including masonry (stone, brickwork, breeze-block, concrete), drywall and wood.
D-Fixings have been tested to confirm ability to hold Safe-D cable fasteners and cable loads in fire conditions up to 1780°F for 2 hours, after withstanding stress vibrations and water sprays also.
In fire tests the D-Fixing threads remain securely embedded with no need for plastic wall anchors (which typically melt at 608°F).Dimensions
